This restaurant is in Skadarlija, which is a lovely cobble-stoned street in the older part of Belgrade. It has a charm of its own and a very attentive staff. It is ideal for sitting indoors when the weather is cold and outside in the garden patio when it is nice outside. There is also live, traditional music to set the perfect mood of Belgrade. It was built in the heart of Skadarska street and has been in a recognizable ambience for more than 150 years. It was opened in 1864 in a building where a craft workshop was previously located, which, as a logo, had three pleated hats. That’s how the restaurant got its name.
By its service and quality, the restaurant is also known outside the borders of our country. It had the honor to host the most eminent domestic and international figures: King Juan Carlos, George Bush, Pertini, Willie Brant, and others.
